Viewpoint: A Coastal Perspective
This project explores Kent’s coastline through educational design, photography, and game-making. Inspired by a three-day trip between Whitstable and Ramsgate, I captured both the beauty and neglect found along the coast. Drawing on activism and local insight, I created a board game called Viewpoint that teaches players about the positives and challenges of the area. Designed so that players move around the board by drawing cards that reveal real issues and local strengths, aiming to reflect on and reshape their own perspective. The project is aimed at policymakers, encouraging them to engage with overlooked seaside towns and take action for change.
